Doppleganger

So i didn't knew about this guy until i finished the first volume and i got a mail about it is it rly bad that i missed the doppleganger for the first volume ?

The only thing that you get for beating the Doppleganger in Vol1 is the Key Item 'Own King' which doesn't do anything on its own. However, it unlocks an additional weapon for Haseo when you beat the Doppleganger again in Vol2. To get all of the rewards, you need to defeat him once in each volume.

It's not really bad unless you wanted to max all of the Books of Ryu for the guild, because although the 'Own King' isn't tracked there, the extra weapons are and can't be obtained any other way. How important or not that is is up to you.

aah okey then thanks ill guesse il defeat it once i finished volume 2 wont be able to max it but it is not too terrible

As When you beat him in Vol 2 and Vol 3 determines what you get if you get anything at all.

In Vol 2 and Vol 3 it is best to beat him twice, once during the game and again after the credits.
Vol2 in 2nd Form gives Broadsword (+ Twin blade if Own King)
Vol2 In 3rd Form gives Scythe
Vol3 In Xth Form gives DG-0
Vol3 after Cubia Fight You get Armour and an Accessory

He only appears in a field, not a dungeon, but you are correct. Avoid fights for 5 minutes and he shows up.

aah so it was field okey thanks alot ill go for it right now i am lv 61 atm ik he is gonna be like 8 levels higher then me but at least i got my scythe alreyd and a great sword for some reason i cant equip those lv 61 daggers i got i dunno prob a bug i am 61, no clue if seal works for him

The best advice when dealing with Doppleganger is to fight it when you are near or at the level cap. It is program to be a couple levels higher than you, but can't go over the level cap of the Volume.

Doppel is VERY easy with silabus and piros. Hit him with a beast awakening and it's over.
Another option os to keep going to fields until you find a lucky animal Sleipnir, then start doppel fight and smokescreen 5 times
a couple hits and you win!

smokescreen keeps the enemys hp when you left them ?

yeah that is the plan i kill him right before the final boss and before the boss i will alredy train myself to 100 since training is literly nothing in this game then that cheating doppleganger whit hp regen wont be able to be 8 levels above me anymore

Beast Awakening is your friend. I killed him in all 3 vol with just that right after starting the game, except for vol 1 where I went through the "tutorial" period first.

Also some correction, in vol 2 you don't need the third form for the scythe. Just beat him 2 times in a row and you still get everything.

Honestly, with the bonus damage of Last Recode, Doppel isn't as scary as he used to be. Now he's way too easy. There is absolutely no need to exploit Sleipnir and smoke screen. Just get on your best twin blades, get your Morale full, and bring your allies with you and you're good to go. It doesn't even matter who you're with. I killed him in vol 1 with syllabus and atoli...

i wanna be max still tho otherwise it has no use or at least like 2 levels away from max i missed him in the first one but i will be doing it for a better scythe since i read scythes cant be bought or obtained from player trades

What is no use? You can use scythe after getting the job change somewhere mid game. There is no need to be at max level to use scythe. Beside, some scythe can be traded (have to, actually, if you want to complete book of 1000).
