EXACTLY. Atoli gets infected by AIDA, that is true. But in Trilogy she becomes corrupted, while in game, she gets her avatar awakened and her avatar goes berserk.
I replay this game occasionaly every 2-3 years (hence the hype behind remastered) however the last time I watched these series instead of playing it. Which explains my confusion.
That being said, a lot of the content from the CG movie really is too good to be ignored for a remastered edition,
I am truly disappointed to not see a few of those scenes, perhaps even modified boss fights, in the game.
Take into account this game makes everything HD; it doesn't improve the models used in game (maybe because they had to reprogram the whole thing if they had to touch that; heard that models couldn't be modified due to locked coding from CCcorp). And Trilogy was made years later after the GU games.
If a game was made for current consoles/PC, it would have .hack//Versus, GU Trilogy or better graphics due to present technology (you can just watch Unity's ADAM to see what I mean).
I mean, they didn't even introduce the most important character of all, Piros. How can you have a GU movie without Piros?!
Agreed. Can't wait for the .hack CInematic Universe's Piros the 3rd movie. :P
