Is there a .hack game where I can play as the Mimiru?
Sorry for the edit to this post. I was confusing Mimiru with BlackRose. As blackrose was based off of Mimiru. I also made the mistake of saying Kite and not Tsukasa. It been so long sense I talked about .hack. I got many of the character confused.

I am sure Haseo can be a cool character but I am big fan of Mimiru from the original .Hack anime. I know it sad that the few games based on the orignal anime I am stuck playing as Tsukasa. Which I find him/her to be so boring of a protaganist. His/her personality is very unlikeable because of the lack of a person he/she is. ((Yes I am using Kite in game gender and offline gender.)) Sadly I could not get into the other series of .hack anime. Do not know why.

Which is why I am wondering if their is a game about the side cast of the original anime. Also is there an mmo for .hack? I so want to play a mmo version of .hack.

.hack Another Birth is a novel but does follow Blackrose through the original 4 games. sounds like what you want outside the "game" bit. otherwise no.

Well I was hoping for a game. Not a book to read. I am not that big of a fan of the .hack. Like I said I could not get into the other series once the original was over. I can see my self playing a video as Black rose or a game where I can make my own character. Specially if their a beast race option.

There was a MO version of .Hack called Fragment but sadly it did not get a NA or a world release. Also you played as a custom character in either the offline or online modes.

I saw that. It also looks like their was no beast race as an option. :( Also looks like it is close as it was an experment. Made some edits to the original post as I was conused on characters. I was thinking of Mimiru and not Blackrose lol.

there are 1 or 2 other games outside the trilogy and the old 4. Link comes to mind but none I am aware of where you play as a custom character, beast, or even as a girl. Female and non human protags are both rarities in the gaming industry as a whole unfortunately.
