Kazubolo's Convalescence/My First Time Bug (Volume 2)

Hello! I hit the end game of Volume 2 and began doing the Kazubolo's Convalescence/My First Time set of quests where you have to find Kazubolo in various places in the world based on the 'my first time' set of forum posts after watching Online Jack 6.

HOWEVER when I've began searching for the NPC in the second phase, looking behind the Lumina Cloth Arena, they just don't seem to spawn and I can't figure out why.

I've read that this is a bug carried over from the PS2 version, but if there's any tips to fix the issue aside from restarting progress I'd appreciate them.

Things I've tried so far:
*Returning to Lumina Cloth after various dungeons with various party members and by myself
*Revisiting the first area in Mac Anu then going back to Lumina Cloth
*Reading the forum post a bunch of times and watching Online Jack 6 a few times

Isn't the first location in Dol Dona by the junk shop? Go back there, and immediately go to the other locations after talking to him. You cannot log out, do dungeons, or turn the game off in between.

Dol Dona? I thought it was the Mac Anu junk shop I saw the character outside of the first time. I'll take your advice though and edit this when I do what you said.

Edit: I followed your advice and found him standing right there by the Dol Dona junk shop. Thank you very much! I'll mark your post as the solution just in case anyone else gets lost in the same way I did. Thank you very much!
