.Hack game series

I recently noticed the release of this game and that it was going to be on Steam and PS4. It was on PS2, I also noticed it is going to include a new chapter.

It is great to see these games returning. I enjoyed playing them. I wonder if there are any plans for .hack//infection mutation quaratine and outbreak.

Even if they didn't remake them as a collection and improve graphics, I think it would be cool to see them on Steam and or on the Playstation Now.

Anyone know if they plan on doing the same as what they are doing with the .hack//G.U. games or, anything in general? I wonder what the chances of anything happening. They were all on the PS2 just like the .hack//G.U. games.

I think it would be disapointing if they didn't do something. Thats my opinion. Whats everyone else think?

In the interviews they said they are hoping that the release of Last Recode will introduce enough new fans that they can start working on new content, a new chapter of .hack

CC2 won't make remake of Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarantine,,
it is, indeed, 2nd popular series of .hack among fans,
but it's not well-recieved by non-fans,,

they make a remake of G.U. because they knew, we need this 4th volume
and because VR and AR is a real thing now,,
but they won't make another

even if they continue the .hack series, i don't think it'll be as good as previous series,,
they didn't continue the manga, anime, or novels,, so the lore won't be as awesome,,

Sekai no Mukou ni is not really good in storyline,,

so yeah, it's probably the last .hack franchise ever

I disagree the original games were stellar, those 4 volumes were some of the greatest JRPG games ever made.

Yea the first 4 were great. Sadly enough I never beat all 4. Someone saved over my data. I beat the first 2 and was far in the 3rd game.

It is cool they are adding a 4th volume for the .hack//G.U. series but one thing I don't get is thinking back infection,mutation,quaratine, and outbreak got higher ratings than the G.U. games. Even though they are adding a 4th volume to the G.U. games wouldn't you want the ones that got higher ratings to make a return.
