No Sound?
My game works everything right, except for the sound that seems to be muted. Anyone knows a solution?

Same here. Game runs great for the most part (besides the screen tearing, 1 crash and a frozen cutscene...) but this one problem is consistent. Any kind of alt-tabbing just yanks the sound out and forces a restart.

I'm not playing on a toaster, so I'd like to find the issue. It seems like most people don't have any problems at all.

Is sound enabled in the game-selection options menu?

I play game without sound, how to fix it?

so i spent the las 48 hours trying to work on this issue that i have on half of my games and came out of nowhere (this is a bit long but its most likely not the game and ill explain why i think that and how I resolved the issue), i bought battlefield v and while I played the campaing until it finished downloading it worked fine, when it finished downloading i had no sound whatsoever, It was very weird, that it worked and now it didnt. Every other game I played previously and I have installed used to work fine, but after the download half of my games (mainly the story driven games which are my favorite) had no sound whatsoever, it was frustraring. Mainly cause I couldnt hear the voice acting and amazing music which to me is a must in story based games. I spent at least a day trying to fix BF V but nothing worked so I asked for a refund which worked. Then I noticed the other games didnt work, some like Tales of Berseria only had sound in the intro video and then it would cut off the rest of the game. I read probably hundreds of forums giving different solutions and obvious one that didnt work (most of them was "make sure you have latest sound drivers installed, make sure you have latest windows update, redownload the game, verify game integrity files, making sure the default output was selected, turning off enhancements, etc...). So i tried more things like running as administrator and nothing, Finally I got frustrated so I went to the extreme, I went to device manager , sound video and game controllers ,and on the realtek high defenition driver i uninstalled and deleted. After that instead of downloading the realtek driver again i just right clicked the speaker icon next to the time and date , selected trouble shoot sound and it gave me the option to automatically download sound drivers. I did that and it dowloaded and installed some basic sound driver and tada! It worked, all my games now play smoothly and sound great. This is my suggestion to do , I recently bought the game and did not even started till that was fixed because well its a story driven game which I love. Sorry for the long story I just wanted to explain what I did so you might try it to and hopefully fully enjoy the experience. Again give this a shot and let me know how it went please.

Turn off Spatial Sound. That worked for me.
