Affection question.
Should the order of the heart color be

Red -> Blue -> Yellow -> Pink (wiki)

or

Blue -> Yellow -> Red -> Pink (my game apparently)

I was browsing through the wiki and saw the first order, and then my pink-hearted Endrance died while fighting God Eater, his affection dropped down to Red (no dot). That gave me a heart attack. Though after reaching Red 5 he went back to Pink, so I'm not sure which one is the correct order.

Also, is there some kind of universal favorite gift for party members? I'm doing book of 1000 in Vol 2 and don't want to drop their affection while giving them junks :P.

Edit: Also, how to raise Saku's affection quickly? I had her sticking with my party for hours, giving her equipments and gifts, and all I got was from Blue 0 to Blue 4. During that time Both Endrance and Antares had maxed out from Yellow 2 to Pink 0...

In the original games some characters started in the red. In Recode though everyone seems to start in the blue (or higher).

So Red being the lowest is the right order? Then how come Endrance (after he died a few times in my games :P) jumped from Red 5 to Pink?

Affection rises fastest by completing Favorite Actions. Everyone likes Rengeki, some also like the hits needed for Rengeki(Silabus), and so on.

Everyone likes high rarity gifts and better equipment.

i guess the order now is blue -> yellow -> red/orange -> pink

That does seem to be the case, cause I don't remember red/orange in the original. Looks like they got rid of red (dislike) and made into orange (greatly likes).

Looks like in this version there is no way for any of the characters to start off hating Haseo, even though some clearly don't like you in the cutscenes. I'm just laughing at the fact that Saku starts off in the blue. :P

I feel like these colors make more sense though. Blue for cold hearted, yellow for warmed up to you, red for burning passion and pink for full of love.

Ugh that sounded sappy.

I guess Blue now counts as dislike, seeing how it's the lowest of the four colors.

I can't even imagine Saku had burning passion or was full of love to Haseo, lol. But man, that girl is a tough nut to crack, even with the greeting cards and all.

I know your pain...it took me ages to force grind Saku's affection up in volume 2.

But yeah, original games had red -> blue -> yellow -> pink, remake is blue -> yellow -> orange -> pink. Each color can have up to 5 smaller orbs around it before going to the next color.
