Bonus Emails

" At the title screen, select the Convert menu. Selecting save data from .hack//Infection, Mutation or Outbreak will give you an email from BlackRose that was sent to Kite after Quarantine. Selecting .hack//Quarantine save data will give you the previous email, and an email from Hokuto(.hack/AI Buster) sent to Rena(.hack/Legend of the Twilight Bracelet). However, in the Japanese release the Hokuto/Rena email is gained from .hack//Fragment save data. "

SO, as stated, is there any way to see those mails, even if we dont have access to old save data from the other old games

When I started Volume 1, I got those emails without having to do anything special.

Yup. There are playthroughs that show this. Whatever your character name was can get imported into this game. But without manipulating save data, I wouldn't know how to recreate that in Last Recode.

I never got them. Have several hours now but no emails. Unless they come at the end of vol 1. Can't remember what it was like on the PS2.

Weird. They were some of the earliest emails I got.

...Have you done the terminal disk yet? Maybe you get them in Last Recode by interacting with the TD since the first thing I did was go to it and played the first file before starting Vol. 1 (since I never got the TD when G.U. first came out).

I've watched the first video before I even started the game. I could try watching the rest I have access too.

^If that doesn't work, try validating your files. It's possible the data for it got corrupted when you installed the game. I know another user had problems with a cutscene and was able to fix it by doing that.

EDIT: Just checked my save and they appeard after Atoli's email about Submissive Tradegy's 1000 Oaks
