not sure how to fix this my computer can def handle the graphiccs so im not sure why its lagging any help?

In what way? Is the frame rate dropping or is the game moving in slow motion?

Also, some people more familiar with hardware than me would also benefit from you posting up your specs.

Yes the game is in slow motion. and im not sure why. im not computer savy either but in order to play the game to begein with i had to pay it windowed. game has been giving me nothing but problems and i am just wanting to play so badly lol please any help would be great.

My computer can run any game at 60 fps no problem, but this one is getting 15 tops, wtf is going on

Trying lowering the game's resolution one setting at a time until you get the game running at a proper speed. Most people with slowdown issues improved with that. IIRC, the default was rather high compared to what most people would have. Do you have the game's resolution set the same as your desktop's? Start with that, and then work your way down from there if necessary.

I think the game rendering is the problem. Try to lower your graphic and window resolution might help. I already try with my old laptop and a little better.

nb : the grass made fps down tho.

Try lowering the shadow settings, and setting AA to low, my potato laptop was running it in slow motion until I adjusted the resolution to match my screen resolution and set AA to low or off, shadows are off, and texture filtering to low. Use vsync if you have screen tearing. Shadows use lot of graphical power. If the game is going in slow motion its likely because your getting low FPS. Shadows are the main culprit for that, at least on my laptop.

Im still not getting 60 FPS consistently, only sometimes, it's mostly around 40-50 fps but it's at least playable on my potato now.

i lowered most setting to low and lowered the resolotion. its playable now but after the first partt where you have to go look for OVan in the ally it gives the me the message of .hack.exe has stopped working and send the problem over to windows. this is now the most frustrating thing. im alsmot there just have to figgure out now why it has stopped working and quits out.

i have an alienware r13 with oled model. 16gb ram and a 1060 graphics card. again im not computer savy. so explain things liek you would a child hahah

simple fix for this honestly just turn off Anti aliasing all together in graphic settings on main menu. Worked so well for me

This. Experienced FPS drops in cities. After this, 55-60 FPS

Also I turned off shadows.
