I like the characters, style/art and setting but the story and battle wasnt that interesting.
I played it once and felt like that was enough. Data Drain was really cool though.
So when I saw this HD release I was pretty annoyed. I want the original. I want it.
They shut it down? That sucks because I liked watching NakaTeleeli's Fragment Fridays on it :(
I would not exactly say its a dumb thing remembr that nearly all words were at the first time being used were made up. Every language has its origin. Truth is Quadrilogy has been a word used sense 1865.
Quartet is a term used to describe 4 people particularly a music group consisting of four people.
Tetralogy is a term specificly describing 4 related literary works (they do not have to be sequential).
Quadrilogy is primarily used in movies to describe a series of 4 movies.
In truth gaming has not created a set of words to use as its own to describe the length of a series of games.
I personally believe that as long as one is able to make oneself understood, it really doesn't matter what kind of words you use. As long as your intent is planted into the minds of the intended recipients, you are good.
Tetralogy is just the word i prefer to use, personally, to denote a set of four creative works. But i could just as easily have used the terms "Quartet" or "Quadrilogy", and in the spirit of "making oneself understood", going with the most commonly accepted and utilized terminology probably would have been the more reasonable choice.
And i am glad to see that a bunch of you actually would like to have the original series on steam, even though they are not the superior series in the franchise, it would just be really nice to have them collected on pc, as they are actually kind of hard to get today, according to my own experience, i lack the 2 last games, so a complete collection for steam would make all of my future days!
never even touched the G.U. series, but can't wait to try them.
Um considerig they would just be porting it, even if it only sold 5000 copies they would be making a profit.
