please open the mixer (Press "M") and click on a open "Insert" slot and click on "VST/Rewire Setup". Navigate to "Effects -> VST/Rewire" there you can add the VST-Path of your Sonar-Plugin.
Kind regards

Thank you your reply.
I already tried that before posting this issue here.
After setting the VST folder plugin path, I tried
1. (Re-)Scan Selected VST Folder and
2. ( Re-) Scan Selected VST Folder including failed plug-ins
But still no 32 bit VST plug-ins are recognized by Samplitude Steam edition.
The thing is that all the Cakewalk and other 3rd party 64 bit plugins are being detected in Samplitude without any problem but NOT the 32 bit ones.
May be there is no 32 bit to 64 bit bridge option for third party VST plugins in Samplitude Steam edition ?
So could you kindly double check that with the steam version of Samplitude?
This is a feature that we all badly need to make Samplitude our Primary and "usable" DAW.
Additional info:
I am also testing Reaper DAW and Reaper can detect each and every Cakewalk / other 3rd party VST plugin, be it 32 bit ot 64 bit.

in Samplitude 2017 NON-steam version .
menu :
File-->Project Properties-->Playback Options ,
then click on "Effects" , to get into the re-wire area .
i did navigate Samplitude to use the VST32 bit folder of Independence Pro ,
and the synths of Independence continue to work .
( closed and reopened Samplitude )
i did NOT enable re-wire .
most likely not much help to ya .
Independence Pro has a VST32 bit folder and a VST64 bit folder to
accomodate both interfaces .
Music Maker can only use VST32 bit . Independence Pro works with Music Maker , too .
