please follow these steps:
1.) Please install the ASIO4ALL audio driver.
{LINK REMOVED}http://www.asio4all.com/
2.) Open the Control Panel>Sound>Record and select your microphone.
3.) Then open Music Studio and change to the program settings.
There you can set the ASIO4ALL driver and your microphone.
Kind regards
The MAGIX team
I tried this and it didn't work.. still blank sound
it seems that when I did 'step - 2' from what you said, my microphone tiny 'green bars' stopped to appear when the program is running...
When I shut down the program the green bars appear normally again..
I guess for some reason the program mute my microphone...
( USB mic )
i see mic levels in Samplitudes track meters ,
when recording , and when not recording . all is working .
make sure the audio Track is "ARM'd"
before clicking the Record button on the Transport Control .
*********************
here is how i did it :
on a Track controller , that shows the track number ,
next to the number ( to the right ) is the blank rectangular box
Right click the box to open "Track Options" .
at the top of the dialogue , are 2 Combo boxes ,
( Record and Playback ) .
both are set to using :
Magix Low Latency 2016 ( 1 + 2 )
next ,
menu :
File-->Project Properties-->Playback Options :
"Audio Setup" Tab :
Magix Low Latecy 2016
is being used .
and , just below that is :
Settings : **
button :
click Settings :
the physical Headset mic is Turtle Beach PX11
and the dialogue box that opens shows Turtle Beach PX11 **
( this "Settings" dialogue is the only place that has Turtle Beach selected )
thers is a bit of mystery with that "Settings" button .
when the mic was not working , "Settings" button
dialogue showed 2 radio buttons , a Share button and ,...
Once i set up the boxes in "Track Options" ( Record and Playback )
as noted above in the first step . This "Settings" button , now displays
a list of all the sound cards available . and the dialogue is mostly black
with blue icon buttons to click on . First time i saw that , the Turtle Beach
was NOT the selected device in there . Once i selected Turttle Beach there ,
the mic started working . aaaaamazing .
the above made the Turtle Beach headset mic work .
Before that , i was choosing the
Turtle Beach driver in "Audio Setup" Tab , but that NEVER worked .
the only place that Turtle Beach is selected , is as noted above ,
in that "Settings" button . **
The mic records just fine , into Samplitude Music Studio .
i can also Real Time monitor\Listen to the Vita Instruments ,
using the mini keyboard ,
i can Real Time listen and play the Big on-screan keyboard ,
as it records into the MIDI track ( 101 key ,Typing keyboard plays notes too )
( the Synthesizer's mini keyboard do NOT record to MIDI )
I just wanted to get started on this thing and this problem got me frustrated so I couldn't even finish the tutorial.
thx for your tip!
I hope it works!
if necessary . showing the driver setup , in the multiple property pages .
a few images would be much easier to follow , then all that text .
( the music synthesizers and Effects ) have amazing sound quality .
