worth it?
I don't have the nostalgia factor doing it for me besides ducktales, Never played the rest. Worth it because of that to still play it?

From what i can recall the Chip games were quit hard and frustrating. Fun games but i'm not so sure i would replay them and go thru the pain now that i'm an adult and i don't care much about the comic.

Worth it even full price. I remember I played these games in Famicom and until now it still gives me a fun experience. Chip 'n' Dale is kinda hard, but Capcom replaces that difficulty with rewind ability so if you are type of hating dying that button is really useful. On the other hand, if you're challenging type, you will have tons of fun time.

Ehh. The games aren't bad, but they're pretty mediocre - so really, it depends on how you like playing mediocre NES games. I enjoy it, but I certainly wouldn't recommend this over the Mega Man collections, or the classic Sonic games, or really any good platformers. Still, the games are decent fun, and mediocrity has its charms.

Yep especially the ducktales ones. I love the fact that you can rewind and the great controls make it worth it.

The rewind is nice. (Although why there's an achievement for not using it, is beyond me.)
But the controls...........no not really. But then it is an old game, on a controller that isn't analog. So i guess it can't be helped. (Unless they let you use a third party controller anyway.)

But with that being the case, it is a good game. So i'll get used to it.

I bought it for Chip & Dale games, which I love, especially in co-op.

Yes, but wait for a sale. If you've got any form of platforming experience, expect to blaze through these. Chip 'n Dale in particular is super easy (as in it was entirely possible for me to beat it while quite drunk, in a night club, with friends pestering me while I played, and I still did not see a game over easy (we've got a geek night club over here...)), but none of the games are particularly hard. DuckTales 1 is the highlight of the set, and the last two, Ducktales 2 and Chip 'n Dale 2, are a step down in many ways from part 1 of their respective series, but if you're after some NES-style platforming, and want something that's relatively easy, then it's a good collection.

Actually the first Chip & Dale game is the only really hard one of the set. Darkwing Duck is relatively hard, too, but only until you figure out what you're doing. Ducktales 1 is by far the easiest of all the games. Interestingly, since most people seem to disagree, I found Ducktales 2 to be easily the best overall game in the collection. And that's purely on the strength of the game, because I never played it as a kid, so there's no nostalgia involved, and the only one of these shows that I was a fan of as a kid was Rescue Rangers.

Ducktales and Chip n Dale make it worth it on their own; both games are classic platformers: As for the rest:

Darkwing Duck runs on an editted Mega Man 5 Engine, and is a lot of fun to play. It's short, but fun and addicting.
Talespin is a broken mess.
And the CnD/Ducktales sequels are hit or miss; some love them, some hate them.
