No Little Mermaid?
It is a movie based game but still a Disney/Capcom NES classic

My best guess is there was a rights issue there somewhere. I thought maybe the music, but BunBun did that soundtrack and he worked on Darkwing Duck so that makes no sense.

It may well be that the liscencing rights for the Disney Afternoon games were different than the movie adaptations. Or that they plan to feature Movie based games in another collection later? There's a lot of other Capcom Disney games not in this list.

most likely they just concentrated on the 'disney afternoon' cartoon block.
all those cartoons was in the same 2-3 hour timeslot on weekday afternoons.

There are also a couple of Princess games out already so maybe they're saving it for a Princess compilation later?

The other Capcom Disney games missing are the three Magical Quest games and Aladdin, Bonkers, and Goof Troop.

Plus Magic Kingdom, Mousecapade, Roger Rabbit, Nightmare Before Christmas. Though the last is a PS2 game.

There are so many Disney games I would love to have available on the PC.

I would love a Disney Princess and Magical Quest collection.

I thought Capcom made all the Disney games on Nintendo systems. My mistake.

Oh, wow. It actually isn't even on Nintendo systems, so big mistake from me there. Forget what I said. I could've sworn it was on SNES.

The DOS version of Aladdin is on GOG, but I think it's a port of the Genesis/Mega Drive version.

No "Little Mermaid", It's based on the "Disney Afternoon" line up that aired in the early 90's. They should do a Disney movie collection though.

The game was based on the TV series though., but yeah Disney Afternoon in NA

The Little Mermaid wasn't even part of the Disney Afternoon in NA anyway. so adding it wouldn't have made any sense.
