An emulator. Really. Made by Capcom. For their old games. So you can play their old games legally on a computer.

Anyway, as for the Switch, coming from someone who actually has worked with Nintendo. It's PROBABLY on the way, they're just still working out the details so they aren't keen on announcing it till they're sure it's ready.
the bubsy emulator was not made from the devs they just used a free one with permission, what makes you sure its made by capcom?

Yes, in fact it's not even actually an emulator, it's a program that WORKS like an emulator. They recompiled the game files into C++ and run them through an engine that simulates the original output. (Literally how one wouild describe an Emulator, but Emulators are more direct and universal.) This allows them to do things like add new modes, fix glitches / make them optional, etc.

People pulled MMLC apart in a desperate attempt to prove it was an emulator with ROMs in it and found out to their absolute horror that... they had to admit they were wrong on the internet. The "ROM" files (actually named .dat files) don't work in any known emulator and cause most of them to crash. They only work when run through Capcom's compiler.

Capcom probably contracted out to Digital Eclipse again for this version.

It's made by DI and published by Capcom. Easy to be sure about this: It's right on the store page.

You mean what about a 3DS and Wii U version that uses the touch screen so they actually add something to these NES games?
(Switch is garbage and will just get these through VC eventually anyway)

i'll buy both steam and switch versions, now i'll have the steam version and later the switch version when be released, because i really liked the chip n dale and ducktales games and i also did the same with megaman legacy collection on my 3ds and steam account. and i hope that there are more filter options in this game, not just normal and crt modes

Why are people buying that garbage NS???.......
3DS and Wii U are 10 fold better also you prob don't know this YOU STILL can't back up data on Switch like Wii U how incompetent Nintendo is.
How garbage/nerfed do they have to make these platforms before you stop buying em????

(would prob still be buyin them if it was just an Ooya with a fresh coat of paint and some lame cow milking gimmick ooooo 3D rumble how about some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOOD games Nintendo that actually let you back ♥♥♥♥ up)

Well i guess we will get it on 3DS and Wii U soon enough through homebrew and without the lazy ass overpriced "ports" actually emulator that nintendo totally against even tho they use other peoples emulation works.....
