This review existence just to remind you that Ubisoft can take this game away from you even when they aren't going to be bankrupt or cease to operate.

Remember "THE CREW 1", literally rob people in daylight even when Ubisoft still exist. It's understandable If they stop existing so their server can't provide authentication, but here, they still operating.

My mom bought this and watch dogs 1 for me because I wasn't allowed to play GTA5

DO NOT BUY THE GOLD EDITION OF THIS GAME!!!

Thought it appropriate to write this review seeing the game is on sale currently,

For myself and many other players, buying the Gold Edition of Watch Dogs 2 does NOT grant access to any of the DLC. All I was given access to was the Root Access pack, despite paying for the season pass and other DLC. I'm not sure if purchasing the DLC separately unlocks it either. I have reached out to Ubisoft support where they asked for proof of purchase and various other methods of verifying that I actually OWNED the DLC. When the support agent was provided with the things they asked for, I was ignored for a month until the ticket was closed. Un-checking and Re-checking the DLC in the properties of your game does not work, neither does verifying files, or even directly adding the DLC files to the game considering they're already there. I ended up fixing the issue of the missing DLC myself, however, Ubisoft will do nothing to help you. Also, the game has a severe flickering issue on certain Graphics cards.

Just save your money or sail the high seas.
