Differences between this and "regular" Fairy Fencer F
So I'm rather confused here. A buddy recommended this game to me. I read up on it, found out this "Advent Dark Force" is supposed to be an extended remake of the original. Straightforward enough up to that point. Went to Steam, found both, saw that the're both the same price, both with their own (damn plentiful) set of DLC. My mind was blown.

So I really don't get it: What's the difference? Where do I start? Never played a Compile Heart game so far, so I'm not familiar with their combat systems and whatnot, if that's what's supposed to have changed. But anyway, which should I get, and, for bonus points, what among the DLC is worth getting and what's filler/game-breaking OP items?

biggest difference is that there are 3 routes instead of one each with its ups and downs with unique fencers and most of the dlc is basicly a easy mode exupment its kinda like tales games but turnbased and lots op dialogue played the ♥♥♥♥ out of the original so this wil be a treat but its up to you wat you like i recomand watching a gameplay trailer

ADF doubles the size of the game in terms of content. The game is slightly more difficult, since the game is balanced around you using 6 party members in battle (Original only had 3 party members in a battle.)
There is absolutely no reason to get the original anymore.

That's the kind of conclusive remark I was looking for ^_^. Can anyone else chime in to confirm or refute this?

Also, does ADF include all the DLC that has to be bought separately for vanilla?

Wouldn't be that difficult. Just got the fourth party member in the original and I had to throw a "Change Enemies" on Solaru Village just to get a non-boss challenge. :P
