Malloc: Out Of Memory

For the past hour I've been trying everything I can think of to reach the first save point, but invariably at some point in the 1st or 2nd floor of the prison the game will crash with the error: "Malloc: Out of Memory" I have no idea what it's referring to as it doesn't even come close to maxing out my RAM and I can't see a game looking like this maxing out my VRAM. I've tried enabling and disabling Vsync via Nvidia Control Panel, switching between borderless, windowed, and fullscreen, turning outlines and shadows off, and running the game as admin. Nothing worked. Is there any fix for this?
My PC Specs:
i7-4770
GTX970
16GB Ram

same problem bro, and is the cutscene really that low resolution? and the gameplay is laggy like really low FPS
im using laptop with specs:
i7-9750H
Intel UHD graphics 630 + Nvdia Geforce GTX 1650
16GB RAM

I found a solution for the Out of Memory thing. Whitelist the game in your antivirus, I don't know why that works, my antivirus never reported blocking anything, but that fixed it.
The cutscenes have all been 1080p for me, and I've never dropped below 60fps, make sure it's running on your GPU and not the integrated graphics

i tried, but disabling the integrated graphics just making it worse
super laggy on everything

I HAVE DONE IT!!!!! OK if you are using bit-defender that is your foe now bit defender a bit tricky because there is no universal white-list section be done no I had to go in and ensure has full access to every feature all this in protection tabs it would make it easier if you ran the game first. make sure that both the folder for fariy fancer and the .exe has access on everything that is in there Anitvirus Advance Threat deference Online Threat Prevention. but you also got to go into the Fire wall and add it there for whitelisted apps and finally Ransomeware Remediation. once you whitelisted in those areas the Malloc OoM should be a thing of the past
