I don't think you can compare a PS4 to a 2012 mid range laptop. Starting with laptops having different graphic card versions from desktop pcs and thinking all the way back to 2013, when midrange would have been considered a GTX 6xx series. I'm thinking in different dimensions anyway, since my graphics card alone costs twice as much as a PS4.
But yeah, I also want that bloom gone. It's pure eyecancer. Sadly no one seems to have a solution so far. It completely destroys the colour scheme, like in stages without bright lighting the colours look saturated and in stages like your example of the lava cave they look washed out.
so it will on PC, all new Koei releases are seeing the PC release same time as PS4
Personally, I can't wait for Toukiden 2. It seems they improved most things that made part 1 rather unenjoyable. If it has 4k support I sooooo want it!

This helps a bit it at least makes the game playable without killing your eyes and giving you a headache.
EDIT: Game won't launch after trying to use sweetfx
EDIT2: GeDoSaToTool crashes the game >_<
But i would also like to see what it looks like with and without the GeDoSaTo profile active if possible.

You may need to tweek the settings to fit the size and resolution of your monitor. But for me using both has given the best results. But if anyone else has had better luck with other settings please post what you used.
Ironically; the right is closer to what the game looks like on PS4. (Save for the fact that the PC version still has far too much overbright orange color on everything due to the environmental lighting.)
I really don't get it. It seems like for some reason, the PC version of the engine uses a completely different lighting model and different parameters for bloom filters. Strange.
