Odd Lines on Top & Bottom Borders

Anyone else getting this issue with their game? Blue lines appear on the top and bottom edges in full screen and borderless windowed mode. Can't even take a screencap of it as it does not appear in the screenshot.

This does not occur in any other game I play on my PC.



UPDATE: I noticed that this issue does not occur while playing windowed, so I decided to see if there are some third party options to remove borders on Windowed mode. Luckily, there is this one that works: Windowed Borderless Gaming. It has resolved the issue with the borders and has not affected my gameplay.

Odd lines also appears in the original FFF or Mugen souls...another game developed by Idea factory. Same game engine...same problem. Shame on Idea Factory.

If it's like I remember with the first one, the game used to always have a frozen image from the opening cinematic stuck in the borders if you used a monitor with any other ratio than 16:9. I had the same thing with the first Neptunia game too, blue borders top and bottom instead of black ones.

I remember the ones for the original Fairy Fencer F weren't that bad though, still pretty dark with some kind of pattern.

I use a 16:9 monitor and I've always had the same issue with different IFI PC ports. It's the intro video being frozen there forever and it's annoying.

After reading what some of the replies were stating on it being the intro video being frozen, I decided to rename the intro video files so that they do not load. Sadly, this did not fix the issue, but it has at least removed the loading intros.

They haven't fixed this since Re;Birth1, doubt they'll do anything about it.

I don't really expect them to in all honesty. I'm just curious why this is the first game out the main series Neptunia games and Fairy Fencer F that shows them.

I've seen something similar to what the OP reports, and in addition, during the startup FMV's, I see a vertical red line through the center of the screen. This goes away once the videos and splashscreens are done and the main game menu comes up.

Vertical red line might have something to do with video. Which video card do you run? You might have some Demo Mode active from your video card's control panel.
