Savegame, how it works?

I saved the game in the middle of a misison, but when i reload i have to restart all the misison, tried many time.... Savegames are intended to works like this, or is a bug?

The savegame is checkpoint based - but sadly it doesn't present itself this way.

No this has always been the case. Its annoying if you finish the first part very well, then safe,but then second part of the mission you fail.. But it is not a bug. Maybe they will change it some day.....

It's not really a savegame, it's more of a "rather useless"-feature ;)

I have this problem also, i finished bomb on tram line, then terorist shooting end failed dirty bomb (saved before it) and it loads from start.

so ,this is a ♥♥♥♥ save....no comment. useless option!!! always again the mission it's a suicide
