How's it compare to Sol Survivor?
Hopefully someone has played both and can chime in. Sol Survivor is... probably, my favorite TD. And this looks like it might be similar from what I've seen so far.

It's fairly similar. At the moment this is in very early access, though. Only 4 missions, no survival mode, etc. It's more like Sol Survivor than Defense Grid, for what it's worth. This game will apparently have orbital strikes and similar types of abilities that you can use, but they're not in the game yet. This game also has some RTS-style units that you can drop onto the paths and control. They're pretty useful in fending off enemy waves, but this game is definitely more focused on tower selection and placement, upgrades, unlocking new towers, etc. than it is on micro-managing RTS units. There's no real base building so speak of, either, beyond building and upgrading towers (at least so far). You can upgrade your "colony" building and a couple of other buildings (refinery, fission plant) to unlock tower upgrades and increase resource production, but that's about all the base building/management there is in this game.

If they improve map details and explosion effects, overal weapon effects etc, then it might be better than Sol Survivor, right now it's very similar but not better. Of course it's still early access so it will definitely improve.

my main issue is how often my turrets will turn and try to track an enemy and never catch up and thus never fire, even when they switch targets.

Also a fans of Sol Survivor. Different hero really give each level a different approach with pros and cons.
Hope this game expand up to more features and stand out among great TD

THey added a new mission today or yesterday

"We also unlocked an additional mission, Nahant. Nahant offers a perfect chokepoint to setup your defenses, but starts with fast enemies that will likely rush by it faster than you can fortify it, forcing you to choose between setup a more ideal long term location, or defending the metal refinery those early units rush to.

It also doesn't have a Fission reactor, so radioactives will be scarce. Be careful when and where you use Milton."
