Frankly you're delusional, and your ignorance of the censorship in Lust for Darkness in no excuse for doubling-down on your mistake. If you actually do own the game then you must be too dense to notice that it's been censored, which is even more pathetic than lying about it.
Hey, can't know what you can't see right? :o) Though I advise you to keep a lit on it, my buddy just got banned on Steam for simply making a joke like this, guess the other guy reported him. Not saying it's good, just saying it's not worth getting banned over.
Glad to hear it, hope something might happen from these threads that convince dev to be a little more explicit in the scenes that we already have. For instance, I only recently found out who the Enthralled are and what their purpose is in Lusst'ghaa, as well as the Changed. But I feel that they weren't accurately presented in-game, I'm sure the fact that they didn't want to go too far with the erotism had something to do with it. If va*ginas are too much already...
That's the thing, people need to take a stand. Gamers, though, are very lazy and complacent. More often than not when they throw a fit about something, they roll over and buy it anyway, basically rewarding dev/publisher malfeasance and telling them that it's ok to do those things. People are raging about Fallout 76, but it will still sell very well, guaranteed. I haven't bought Agony yet, and I still may not buy the Uncut version. I haven't decided yet. I won't buy Fallout 76 or Anthem. I actually have a backbone and integrity, and when I say I won't buy something, I mean it.
Capitalism only works when people understand you vote with your wallet. If a comapny does something you don't like, don't give them money. Any money. You can't say "well, everyone else is doing it so I may as well" or "It's only $5..." because that's exactly what they're counting on. If you hit these companies in their bottom line, the only thing they care about, they'll notice and change their tune. It has happened before. If PlayWay loses a ton of money on Agony, then next time they'll reconsider if it's smart to censor the next game they publish.
Personally I wasn't too fond of the fact they made a Fallout that required constant online connection, but it was said people can solo through the world AND it'll have mod support in private worlds. However, I expect microtransactions and insufferable RNG to play a big role. Quite frankly, mods is the only reason I play Fallout and Skyrim. And Anthem, I despise gender-locked protagonists, I rarely ever play a female character because I simply don't identify from a female POV, neither do I enjoy playing dress-up with player made slooty dolls like some qu-.. Ok, let's not turn this discussion political. But you're right, buying and moaning but rolling over doesn't change anything for the better, in fact it'd sooner get worse. Complaining and reviewing works, people like you will read it and decide not to buy it if it's censored.
But, yeah, the slutty armor mods for Skyrim are, unsurprisingly, some of the most popular, add in the ginormous jiggly breasts, porn star body types, and perfect supermodel faces. I'd be lying if I said I have never installed such mods before, but it's really not a reason to buy an otherwise bad game, and it gets old pretty fast. I'm positive a lot of the whining about the first person view of Cyperpunk is people crying that they can't jerk off to their female V.
Censorship is a cancer, it needs to be stamped out early every time or it grows and festers until it can't be stopped. All these whiny incels were glad that the hentai VNs got removed from Steam. I don't play them, I don't like them, but I don't want to take them away from the people that do just out of spite. Especially because that sets a nasty, dangerous precident for someone to come after the games I do care about. The people behind that said their long term goal is to get Witcher 3 taken down, and the same people glad that the "weeb games" were purged wwould scream bloody murder if TW3 was taken down.
On one hand, there's no such thing as bad publicity. When Fox News threw a fit about Hot Coffee, all that happened was sales of San Andreas went up. So there's really no reason in toning things down to reach a wider market. Certain groups are always going to target games, and in particular graphic and sexual games, so toning it down doesn't stop them and it does alienate the people that actually want to play it. But also, bad PR works. When a business gets called out on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practices, shareholders panic. They don't want anyone to rock the boat. If you make enogh of a fuss, eventually they will submit, jut like Valve did with the morality police going after "porn games." So really, it just takes the gamers being as dedicated to their cause as the people against them, and there's a lot more of the former, so if push came to shove, it's obvious who would win.
I'm sure that doesn't stop the exceptionally queer from genderbending the crap out of their personality to in-game gender. You're absolutely right, about 30% of all mod content is blonde big boobed bimbo booty babes and other dress-your-bimbo barbie accessoires. Isn't that all the trend nowadays? Due to a lack of proper male rolemodels in families, moms teach boys that they can be girls and play with dolls and encourage gay relations? It's despicable. I have a friend who is gay and even he thinks it's disgusting. The queer is nurtured just like the majority of the gays. Anyway, I think I'm gonna like Cyberpunk 2077. Probably because I'm gonna make a male character anyway lol
Absolutely, I've said it many times. Censorship is the enemy of creative freedom in art and freedom of speech. I too have nothing with those Japanese hentai games, but there are people that do like them, like dressing up female character (in straps or anything that shows more flesh than a prostitute in ) allows some males to 'get in touch with their feminine side', I find it disgusting but I don't need female characters to be taken away from games because I don't like these queers. I understand exactly what you mean here. The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece, it doesn't actually get too explicit with sexual scenes but that's okay, sexual content is not as thematically relevant as in Lust for Darkness or Agony. These fascists that are trying so hard to assert themselves in the game industry to take down games like the Witcher 3 only want to make the lives of gamers miserable. They don't care about people's well-being, they are 'liberal' 'pro-life' fascists who pretend they can modify their gender like these queers dress-up their in-game prostitutes in slooty rags.
Fox News is notorious for being left-wing liberal fake news television. Sexual themes are ALWAYS targeted, I mean there are far worse things going on in games like the sheer violence and gore you can bathe in on Agony, but nooo... Vag*inas, must-be-censored-at-all-cost! (Though add some extra pe*nises, and throw in some physics too) Pretty sure it's part of some elaborate plan to turn generation X and beyond into these virginal psuedo-gays, makes it obvious why deliberately hetero/integrity-offensive games like Genital Jousting is allowed on platforms like Steam, but try and do the same game with only female genitalia. Hah, yeah right. But you're right, investor and shareholder panic will stop the money, no money is no game development business, so we're all connected.
Specifically look at those twitter posts that some random person tweeted and is then represented on their site as if this person is a martyr for some cause.
They just love to kiss-up to LGBTQ+ fascism and turn the games we love into 'progressive' mainstream gay/queer simulators, to teach your teenagers to strive to be or experiment with gayness like their favorite game character.
What this advertised itself as being is misleading to say the least. If you're gonna make a crappy indie game supposedly focusing on mature content such as nudity, sex scenes and whatnot, then fu(king do that...like "Agony" and others did...
Waste of time...glad I didn't get to finish the game thanks to this discussion I found right here...
