same as with MS13P

hold
Left-Ctrl and drag the Right edge of the Event .

max range is +-4x
4x speed up , and 4x slow motion .

No envelope curve with MS13P MS14P ,
only a static speed per video segment .
Must split the video into segments and apply a different speed to each segment .

Only Big Vegas does 40x speed up and 40x slow motion

twixtor is used for that, or just use gopro video editor for that.
twixtor can get 1% slow and smooth if your video has enough frames.

that's right ,
the source footage needs to be recorded at 120 fps or 240 fps or more ,
to get super smooth slow motion .

it is more about the fps of the source footage , then it is about the editor .

so what u r saying is if i record it at 120fps raw video and when i slow down or slowmotion a certain sequence , the sequence slowmotion will be near at 60fps?

you want to record your video at 120fps at least to get less than 30% butter smooth shot, otherwise if it is a fast moving scene it will look jellyish

if you want to slow it down to 50% even 60fps is enough, but any slower than that, you will need a higher frame rate for it to look good.

Gopro software is free, and you will kinda not really use gopro footage but because it does not have any detection on what was recorded on a gopro or not then you can use your videos there as well and it has a slow motion built in by their company.

If you want to use Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, DeVinchi, etc then you'll need to use twixtor which is 500$ plugin that allows me to get butter smoooth slow motion.

phones that record at 120 fps get smooth slow motion .
4x slow down , will put it at 30 fps .

both MS13P and MS14P can slow down as much as 4x .
so , if you hae 120 fps source footage , you can have nice slo-mo at 30 fps .

for about 40 price editor MS13P or MS14P

for 224 ( half price of Twixtor )
you can get Vegas Pro with DVD Architect Pro .
and Vegas Pro slows down by 40x ! for extreme slo-mo .

damn 224 is still costly man. haha any student discount?
wakeme 15 Thg07, 2017 @ 6:21pm
i think Adobe and Vegas both have student discount versions .
you will need to look somewhere else for that .

maybe B and H camera store in New York .
look at Amazon too .
google search it too .

Not sure if student discount can beat 224 .
( Vegas 14 Edit Pro with DVD Architect Pro )

regular price for Vegas Pro was\is typically 600 for first time purchase ,
( and still is 600 ) .
then later , if new version is released ( and they always do ) the upgrade
price was always 250 . Yeah , Vegas can be big bucks afrter awhile .

224 for first time purchase is an exceptional price .

Edit Pro does omitt some extra 3rd party add-ons .
view the Comparison button at magix dot com
for Vegas 14 Edit Pro , Vegas 14 Pro , and Vegas 14 Pro Suite

yes ,
the regular price for Vegas 14 Edit Pro really is 399
( without DVD Architect Pro )

So ,
224 for Vegas 14 Edit Pro with DVD Architect Pro is a really good price .
