Vegas 14 favours CPU only rendering . Vegas 14 supports up to 16 Threads\cores .
the more CPU cores , the faster Vegas 14 will render . the big Ryzen is expensive .
the big Ryzen won't help gaming ,...for gaming , you need a good GPU anyway .
Ryzen 8 + 8 , would be the Top match with Vegas 14 ,...it'll cost ya .
a decent GPU can be had for much less then a big Ryzen , then get Vegas 15 ,
and your gaming will be good too .
Vegas 15 supports present day GPU's for rendering from AMD and Nvidia .
if you don't use GPU , then Vegas 14 will give your CPU cores a really good workout ,
Vegas 14 can offer a lower price point , compared to Vegas 15 .
