Dress weights?

What are the required weights for her to be able to fit into the silk/spikey dress? Googling it brings up that she needs to be below 80 (for the original PM2, I assume), but my daughter's says 55. Is there a second age lock, or something? Or, am I missing something...

I dont know the exact weight but all the dresses with weight requirements need a max weight around 40-42 to be wearable. You can also just look at the picture of your daughter. If you gone over the weight limit her sprite will change to that of a thicker girl. You need to be at the lowest body sprite display for the dresses to fit, which like i said is somewhere around 40.

If you need to lose weight fast, go on vacations to the sea, 3 times a month from may to july. Loses around 1 weight each visit.

Depends on height really, taller she is the greater leeway you have.
Got one with really stunted growth thanks to keeping her on standard diet all the years and she couldn't fit into non-cottons (safe assumption is that silk/leather/etc share requirements, cotton being the one-size-fits-all) as 149cm 44kg.
And other which had a bit better time growing up fits into all as 164cm 50kg.

The requirement to wear the silk/spikey dress is that your daughter is 13 years old(or over) and not obese.
Height, weight and age are the factors determine whether your daughter is obese or not.
Losing weight and raising height are helpful to avoiding obesity.
Age can not be adjusted. :D

The number on the left is height in centimeters, and the number next to that is is weight in kilograms. The ways you can cause your daughter to lose weight are 1) putting your daughter on a Refined Diet or Intensive Diet (she will lose Stamina); 2) Taking her to the beach during Summer; 3) Giving her the Ancient Milk item, which can be found while adventuring.
There is also a 4th way that is somewhat less obvious. If you get the item "Cat's Eye" that is sometimes dropped by Wildcats in the Eastern Forest, you can trade it with Ket Shi (Western Desert or Northern Glaciers) for him to either reduce weight, raise height, or lower height.

Also, I've always been able to manage my daughter's weight by taking her to the Sea in summer two times a year.
