My advice is based on the DOS version of the game, so there may be discreprencies. The Venus necklace (1500G) is probably the best item to get, as it will raise your daughter's Refinement, Glamour, and one other stat on her birthday. It's not easy to get it before she turns 11, though, but I've done it.

I believe the Spirit Ring (1000G) is the next best. You can use it in the desert. Specifically, you need to visit the lake in the Desert. The payoff for it isn't immediate, though.

I don't recall the effects of the Unicorn Flute or Demon Pendant, but the Siren Robe can be useful to get an edge in the dance contest. The Buxomise Pills are, ultimately, a waste of money. :steammocking:

He'll visit three times total. His visits are based on the amount of gold you have at the end of a month.

Are you able to marry the dragon without the help of the buxomise pill? I thought it would only trigger with certain.... enhancements... ^^

Unicorn flute and Demon Pendant are simmilar to the spirit ring. You can trade them in for stat boosts, if you finde the right spot in the world.

He first appears if you are above 1000 Gold. So if you want to buy something for 1200 or more, try to get past this limit in one month. Like with the anual 500 salary.

The dragon marriage is triggered by defeating the Dragon Youth, then taking thier dowery when they offer it. All the pills do is change the Elder's comment on her bust, which can also be accomplished by having Ket Shi take some of her height away , if I'm not mistaken.

Thats not totally correct. He visits more then three times if you dont buy anything. After you bought the third item he does not appear anymore.
I had him appear around 5-6 times before i bought my third item from him.
Just today.

Another thing I am eager to test. I thought the elder dragon doesn't propose a marriage until she looks good enough. Also, the second option with Ket Shi seems rather stranger for that effect. ^^'

Based on the DOS version, the demon pendant can be presented to the demon in the cave in the desert for either money, or a significant bonus to Glamour. If you want the glamour bonus, refuse the money offer.

Doesn't the Elder give you a special dress if he likes you though?

Yes, but there's little effort involved. You only need to visit him once your daughter is 15 years old after meeting him for the first time. Trying to get it earlier will result in him turning her away.

Yeah but even when you're old enough he still won't give it to you unless you're busty enough.

The dress has nothing to do with the Dragon Prince though. He comes to propose exactly 1 year after you beat him in the ruins, if I remember right.

In my experience in the DOS version, the Dragon Youth asks for your daughter's hand in marriage at the end of the month she turns 16, or the next month afterwards once he's been defeated. For some reason, that didn't happen for me.

Than there is definitly a chance.
She beat him when she was 13. The old man showed up when she was 17! (I thought he would come earlyier and wandered to the desert again. She wasn't there since she got the dress. So he gave her money equaly to her beauty and the next month he showed up. I am still not sure about the requirements.)
