This snake/serpent slider puzzle is miserable
There's no way to reset the pieces and I have literally no idea how to complete it.

Do you mean the water pipe slider puzzle? Slider puzzles in general are more easily solved if you don't try to reason your way through them. Just move the pieces around with a goal in mind, and try not to think about it too much. I know it sounds dumb, but it works for me.

I believe so. It's on the side of a wooden box that came out of a tomb-looking thing. It has me super stuck. I'll keep trying I guess, but it's really hard - especially when there aren't even any clear start and end pieces as multiple pieces seem to fit at the beginning and end.

It's tricky, but if you keep in mind that there are so many pieces that the snake *has* to "slither" through almost every one of the squares, you can build a long coil that runs up and across the top row. Then fiddle with the other bits until they link up.

The way to implement the previous advice is to remember you can cycle round (rotate) a block of 4 tiles, remove the wrong one and then cycle the remainder back into place. By using different sets of 4 tiles to rotate around to the empty tile you can manipulate all the necessary tiles without losing progress.
Just quit the game because of this lol
