Flashing Lights??

I've just started the game and after receiving the letter from the guard it tells me to go look at the door, but there's like super fast blinding flashes going off on screen / behind the door, mailbox, and bell mechanism. It's nigh unplayable, dunno how to fix - updating drivers did jack all (466.77 made it worse), likewise nothing rolling them back to the cp77 drivers.

don't watch if you're sensitive to lights / epileptic obv

e: turning camera effects off seems to have temporarily stopped it, but now I get different artifacts...
