Totally ... with the one exception that there is so much more content. I think I‘ve played through about half of the game by now and I quite enjoy it.

Hi guys. Indeed, The House of Da Vinci is the same genre – we love 'The Room' series and we tried to take it to another level. Hopefully you would enjoy it, thanks for playing!

Same genre? It looks and sounds more than just the same genre, even the puzzles are flowing just the same... With all due respect of making and putting a game out, I feel a serious lack of authenticity here.

I may not know all the details, if some employees from Fireproof decided to make their own compagny, if there's a relation of some sort between the two compagnies, but if not, the lack of creativity just leaves me unwanting to play this game. I'll wait and see what kind of projects Blue Brain Games has to offer in the future.

It's the same old tired arguement. If someone creates something using similar mechanics people consider it a clone or rip off. But if that's the case every game every created is a rip off or clone of any other game created before it. I love the Room games and this game is top notch as well! I hope to see more companies produce games of this genre. No one argues about first person shooters being rip offs when they all have the exact same game play mechanics. Nor does anyone complain about casual hidden object games being rip offs due to the exact same gameplay mechanics. Need I mention the word Myst-clone?! Every game using first person slideshow or node based navigation puzzle solving was considered such because Myst was the first to introduce said game mechanics. This is just another sub genre of adventure games that is inspired by Fireproofs games. I see nothing wrong with that and I hope it inspires more! It's the story and setting that makes it different despite similar mechanics and twists of such that makes it its' own :)

Bigger and more rooms gives you a good feeling of exploration. And the puzzles are just awesome. Definitely best game in this genre

Where is the big authenticity in all your games which are YOU playing? Tell me one of them and I will tell you dozens of other similar games with same ideas, same gameplay, same settings!

Extremely similar to the two Room games. Many of the puzzles feel like a direct steal. I think The Room and The Room 2 are better constructed.
