Dive into SWIMMING POOLS in Hotel Architect - Poolside Paradise!

Oct 1

Hello Hoteliers,

We are thrilled to announce that the post-launch roadmap for Hotel Architect is finally here, and yes it does include news about SWIMMING POOLS! We promise we haven't been ignoring your collective requests for pools on purpose, we were just quietly working on in them in the background... ready for the big reveal (ta-da!)

But first, on behalf of the entire team at Pathos Interactive and Wired Productions, I'd like to extend a big thank you for your patience as we ironed out bugs, responded to player feedback, and released smaller patches in the build up to todays very important announcement!

The Post-Launch Roadmap

The post-launch roadmap includes both paid and free content, so we have ensured there is something for everyone! We will continue to update this roadmap with further details which will be communicated via these blogs or in our Discord Server.

Free Update 3 - Autumn

Whilst we are still finalising the full extent of the Autumn Update, which will be the third major free update since we launched into 1.0, we can promise that there will be new systems, a new zone, a new staff type and new items to enjoy. We will reveal more details on this closer to its launch!

Poolside Paradise - DLC 1

In November we will be releasing our first ever paid DLC 'Hotel Architect - Poolside Paradise'. This is a major content pack where you will be able to:

Open a pool resort in the brand-new 'Gran Canaria' scenario
Build and design Swimming Pools
Hire a new staff type to ensure pools are maintained for top customer satisfaction
Build new outdoor gym and wellness areas for active stays
Design your hotel and pool with a whole host of new items and decorations
Plus much, much more!

Hotel Architect - Poolside Paradise will be priced at $7.99 / £6.99, with a 10% launch discount which will run for 2 weeks. You can wishlist the DLC right now:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1602000/Hotel_Architect/We hope you are as excited as we are to bring swimming pools to your hotels! We can't wait to reveal any more details about both the free Autumn update, and Poolside Paradise soon.

Taking huge losses on slot machines

Currently on the quest to make $15k with slot machines. I have had them since I could unlock them very early on. I am now on day 65 and have made a whopping $5k. The guests are constantly jackpotting on it and I don't know what else to do. All of my other objectives have been done and I am just waiting on this RNG.... really frustrated. The devs say it's balanced in the player's favor but I just really don't believe that at this point. Any tips???...

Whats with room prices?

I've got backpackers paying 3000 plus to stay in a room that says they won't pay more than 1700 and sporties staying in rooms that are better saying they will pay 2300 bucks. Shouldnt the better rooms for the sports folks pay more?

Could you please increase the amount of sandbox starting money?

I've never understood why there is either infinite money or a limit on the amount of money we can start our sand box game with. Please increase the amount in sandbox from 1,000,000 to something besides infinite, like let me choose 10 million or 5 million or 1 billion, or what ever the individual player wants in sandbox game please. Thanks...

bug: stuck on 1 star on tutorial

just a quick report from playing the game. 1) I got stuck on 1 star forever on the first mission. unable to get sporty guests to come at all. I had to google for help. sporty guests need to have a room with a toilet and sink, which is not explained anywhere. I didn't know I had to make rooms with a toilet (and a gym), so I played for hours and never got any. The tutorial should be adjusted to make this happen. 2) The icons for the different guest types are impossible to distinguish. They need to be re...
