possible bug?

when i click the buttons that close, open and change screens (shop, fishmonger, everything) i have to click multiple times before it works. the game is great except for that annoyance

Hello,

I & my friend D/L this game yesterday and when we tried to add each other as a friend the game locked up for both of us! We had to close out the window altogether to get out of it and unless we can play together we will not be useing this game and I am pretty sure many others feel the same and are having the same problem!

Are you running an ad blocker and/or anti-virus scanner? If so, can you try temporarily disabling them and running the game again and report if you see icons? Your help is much appreciated!

turned off scanner, nothing changed. i don't think Steam has adblockers

Hi Merlin, there might be an issue with inviting friends via Facebook. Here is a workaround if you want to play with your friend in a club:

1. Create a fishing club either from the main menu or from the clubs tab in the social bar at the bottom of the game screen.
2. Make sure both you and your friend are playing and that you are both using the same language in the ALL chat channel.
3. Write something in ALL chat.
4. Your friend can now right-click your message and open your PLAYER PROFILE.
5. Your player profile states the name of your fishing club. Your friend can then click the little INFO-button next to the club name to open your club's profile page.
6. Finally your friend can click the JOIN CLUB button.
7. Now you can click the MESSAGES button on the main menu screen and ACCEPT your friend's request to join your club.
8. Your friend has to restart the game to appear in your club chat.

Alternatively you can open your friend's player profile from the ALL chat and invite him to your club. In this case your friend will receive a notification and can click the MESSAGES button in the main menu.

Yes, I know - it's a bit complicated right now. We are already working on this issue to simplify the process.

HI again,

OK 1st off we are using Steam and we are not on Facebook! If you really have to jump thru that many hooks just to put another player on your friend list then maybe you should not have relessed the game as of yet because the friends list should be one of the very basic options of this or any game as what is the point of joining a MMO if the friends list is broken? I will watch this chat steam to see when the Dev's have fixed this issue which I aurge you to make this a top of the bug fix issues as I stated before that any mmo that has bugs in just adding a friend to the friends list is most likely the #1 thing we all play MMO's for!

Looking at the date you posted this i`m a bit worried.
Knowing this issue is still present today 4 months later.
Should be quite easy to fix i would say.
