This game needs 'Turn order variant'
Did someone know what is determined currently the turn-order?

The best and fair rule for Eclipse (from 'Ship pack one') :
the player order is determined by the order the players passed on the previous round...

Agree! This one should be easy to implement too...

Indeed, it would be a nightmare with the physical version, but that would work nicely with the computerized one.

Currently it appears to be first pass, then 'clockwise', like in the base game. Personally I'd like to have both alternatives as options, so both the turn order variant and the direction of play variant from Rise of the Ancients.

If the turn order variant from Ship Pack One (turn order = pass order) is implemented, I don't see a lot of value in the version for Rise of the Ancients (second passer determines direction of play) and doubt I'd ever play it.

The currently implemented rule and the RoTA variant are beneficial in a tabletop environment to help keep track of turn order, but not that useful when the computer is doing it.

Sure, but just because one is "best", it doesn't make the alternatives pointless, especially if someone simply wants to play it how they always play it face to face.

Anyway, given how much work the base game needs, I wouldn't expect to see this implemented before the expansion DLC gets to the stores. I just hope the expansion content isn't released in a really stingy way.
