at a loss, have part of my team waiting for me at the train except for the robot and the kid giving the promotional train items. I cant figure out what to entertain the movie theater guy with. Or to trade the rope guy. Im just stuck..

Releasing the robot will help you on your way. For that you'll need the toolbox, which you can get from the fisherman in the bar by beating him at rope portraits; the final portrait you need to learn can be obtained from the shady guy in the alley to the right of the theater.

I'm stuck, too. The rope game is one of my problems. I think I have the correct portrait, but I don't understand how to use it in the game.
My second problem is the ant love potion. I don't know how and where to use it.
And at least, I'm trying to sabotage the karoke party. I need something to switch the votes of the guests.

If you've got the right portrait then it should just appear as a new option during the rope game; you don't have to 'use' the photo in any way. The potion you need to use on the lovers in the alley to the right of the bar.

Got it, it was the wrong portrait. The potion didn't work, somehow the game crashed or got stuck. After a restart the potion worked where and how she should do it.

I am also stuck, I want to switch portraits but the shady guy in the alley won't respond to my only dialogue choice. (Also if you "use" the photo on the shady guy, you hear a sailor's voice.) Reloading hasn't worked.

Are you trying to give him the portrait in the alley when it is top down, or when you can see him fully?
