There is a known error for some people.

If you get a message that says " Runtime Error: 3002 (title_init) "

HOW TO FIX:

download this file - {LINK REMOVED}

and paste it into this folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\Hunted One Step Too Far\Files\titlesbank\default

Overwrite the old file.

Encountering other issues? Please let me know. I will do my best to help.

With that file the game starts at least up to the main menu ... but then the same error occurs when starting a new game ...

okay. Go to the game folder. Located here:
Steam\steamapps\common\Hunted One Step Too Far

Look for the setup.ini

change the value

fullscreen = 0

to

fullscreen = 1

Did it help?

(green screen bug)

There is a possible bug that can occur when you are loading a game.
Sometimes the screen goes completely green. Restart the game and load again. That fixes it.

Okay, I know about one issue that occurs when you have the game on another harddrive than (C).
What's the name of your Hard drive? C or E or something else?
Ginge Sep 2, 2016 @ 10:09am
Windows on C: Steam on D:

okay. The Problem is, somehow the engine won't work on any other hard drive than C..
Having the steam folder on C would fix the problem. It's up to you...
A friend of mine had this issue too, and he moved the game to C.
Then it worked. That's all I know.

Ok thx, i might try that later.

No worries! I will do my best to help! Please inform me when you made it.

Please make an update that fixes all. It always shows the Runtime Error 3002 and crashed. I followed the intructions here but still crashed. Hopes are still up!

Yeah... You'll really have to release an update with fixes. Especially a fix for the lame problem forcing you to install the game on C: for it to (hopefully) work.
You ought to put that on the main store page so people have a chance of noticing before they buy. :claugh:

I will look everything up, especially the Harddrive problem, it seems to be an engine related problem. Please give me some time. I will release an update as soon as possible.

If you want, you can try the public alpha here and see if it has errors too.
