1) Discord or Teamspeak (Skype if everyone is up for it)
2) Twitch or Beam (Beam Preferabbly because there is only 1-5 sec delay)
3) OBS (For Twi tch) or Tachyon (For Beam) [What i prefer]
What you need to do.
As the host of the game, you will need either a Twitch or Beam account. create one and download OBS or Tachyon. have all of your friends on either Teamspeak or Discord and when streaming, Place a random photo of anything (i usually put a photo of a taco or a pepsi bottle) in front of the password. this way, no guest/viewer not in the discord/teamspeak can enter the game. make sure to type the password to your friends and REMIND THEM TO NOT SAY IT OUTLOUD.
after you get set up and stuff. it shouldnt be hard. i hope this helps :D
any questions? hit me up :p i always do this with my friends.
This kind of game should have had multiplayer out of the box. I don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ the developers were thinking. It's bascially cards against humanity, but on STEAM and digital. I already own cards against humanity plus several of the expansions, so why would I buy this game if I had something similar already in my house?
The biggest advantage of this being a digital video game would have been the option to play with people online. Even random matches with strangers.
Sorry developers, I won't buy this unless this is multiplayer. I'd go as far to say I'd rather pirate it than pay you money for ignoring a feature that should have been in from day one.
To be perfectly honest I say this because that's how I play with other people online with other party games including jackbox games and etc, which this game is more similar to. With the streaming/video sharing ability, you only need one copy of the game instead of everyone you want to play with owning one.
I didn't know you could play games like quiplash, drawful and etc with people online just using the programs. I always assumed you just video shared/streamed it or played it locally.
Also this game is nothing like cards against humanity, at least from what I know of CAH.
