Need Help with Cross Examination

I failed cross examination with Eli and Daphne. I tried again and I think I know what I'm supposed to do, but not how to do it. Can anyone explain how this mechanic works? I'm not sure what to click and it's telling me all the info is wrong. The voice acting and art is very good so far! I'd like to be able to finish the demo, but I'm stuck....

WE MADE IT!! LaurEli & the Blood Dipped Manor is OUT NOW! 🦇💜

WE MADE IT!! LaurEli & the Blood Dipped Manor is OUT NOW! 🦇💜

You’re trapped in a creepy manor. There’s a murderer on the loose. The storm outside isn’t going anywhere.

And Laura has decided she’s going to solve the case herself.

Seems sensible. Surely nothing terrible will happen to her!

If you like figuring out contradictions, arguing with suspicious people, spooky secrets, and girls being incredibly normal about each other… welcome to Spielsdorf Manor!

Enjoy your stay! Preferably alive.

Honestly, it feels a little weird to finally say the game is OUT. After all the writing, revisions, testing, and various forms of development scuff… here we are!

Thank you to our team, Kickstarter backers, playtesters, and everyone who’s been following along. Whether you backed the game, shared a post, or just stuck around to see what I was making, I’m grateful you were here.

Okay. Enough getting emotional. We have a murder to solve!

👻 Play LaurEli!

📦 And yes, the DX Pack is here too!

…Just taking a slightly different route.

Its Steam page is still delayed, so I’ve made the DX Pack available on Ko-fi in the meantime. No reason to keep the extra goodies waiting :3

Grab the DX Pack here![ko-fi.com]

If something breaks, looks weird, or otherwise decides to misbehave, please let me know so we can look into it!

And if you enjoy the game, leaving an honest review would mean a lot. I’d love to hear what you think!

Thank you for believing in LaurEli and Arkd3v Studios. I hope you have fun with the strange little manor we’ve put together 💜

i played and beat the main story. i unlocked all four endings. i went through all of bean theatre and the side stories. and i will say. the story is fantastic. especially once you do go through all those things. its like...a masterpiece as i am way too intrigued to the point i need this to be a franchise and a overarching resolution to be made.

but i also struggled at only two points in the story. im not saying i expected more of a challenge. just saying i did encounter some issues but only twice. the problem was that things didnt quite fit to make the answers..obtainable without brute forcing and save scumming. only two different points though. and i will say the first time was just me being dumb. it did make sense after the fact though not for the reasons, laura gave (that only shows my brain working differently though.) and the second problematic wall, though it did make me wish a guide existed, it was honestly kinda ironic. and silly in retrospect. only because of who made me stumble. and thats all i'll say, fellow detectives, so that you may enjoy the story.

also, before the patch i did also get a few bug errors but i like how they arent major. you can just safely rollback via button prompt when it happens. after the patch i did NOT receive the bug error at all as i blitzed through the story to unlock everything.

Incredibly buggy. The game completely dies any time I try to skip. All choices are greyed out and there's no way to proceed. Save file is ruined. This does not feel ready for release. Actual gameplay: I think I made it 10 minutes. Even starting a new game does not fix it. Wow, this is ****ed.

Endings, CG and bugged achievements (spoilers)

I just finished the game, seeing both endings which came from the last choice about Bertha. The achievement pop up said that I unlocked "both endings", but I'm still missing some CG (the last of the second row, the last of the third row, the first of the fourth row). Looking at the bean theater it seems that there are actually 4 endings, since the last two are locked. Are the other two and the missing CG depending on the choices during the game? Any hints about how to unlock them? Also, the Steam achiev...

Chinese Localization

Hi dev, I'm Steven from Rogue Ghost Studio, a game‑localization team based in China. Our team has completed Chinese localization for more than 20 titles, accumulating over 3 million translated words, with good reviews from developers and players alike. I’d love to share more info about myself, but I can’t post any links or other business details in this Steam discussion. If I do, the post will be taken down and my account could get banned. I’m really sorry about that. Those info such as my tran...
