Report a translation problem
Lately most of my sounds are from general-purpose sound packs. I don't remember the exact ones, but it's stuff like "Universal Game SFX" etc. They're not free but they're very cheap, like $40 for thousands of sounds. (edit: actually, there's a lot of free packs if you search for them, but you'll generally get more reputable stuff if you pay a bit)
For very specific individual sounds I use SoundSnap.com, which is more expensive but has a very good selection.
I'm listening to someone play EBF 3, and a lot of these sound effects are identical to the ones used in Super Smash Bros. I think a few of those ripped sounds you mentioned are in the game.
