There is only one deadly head, and that's the fire one. By the time you hit the Hydra, you will have massive amounts of evasion and dark resistance (Ninja gear on Mat, Ninja gear on Nat, and Officer gear on Lance) that the dark head is borderline useless and the holy head legit only has regen and a weak (compared to the damage you deal) heal, throwing the odd holy or two. All you have to do, is nuke the fire head until it dies, using ice spells and glacial sword. Lance is there for the item/guardian and air strike since its legit overpowered in this game.
If you do it correctly, and dispel the regen and purify your doom applications, you're quite set to win tbh. oh, and make sure you are at lvl 25+ as ive found most reach lvl 30 by the last area in a full clear run.
Ill give some more advice if you need any other than this, as this is how i beat it "easily" or as easy as epic can become.
A quick search actually gave me some new information, as its been a while since i did this boss (2015 and another one on steam when it was released) and apparently its heavily nerfed from when i did it: https :// epicbattlefantasy. fandom. com/ wiki/ Pyrohydra (remove spaces since steam sucks and doesnt let us post anything looking like a link.
As far as "which head is deadliest" is considered, it really comes down to how you equip your characters. My personal preference ever since playing this on ArmorGames back before EBF4 came out was to gear for fire and dark resist and blow up holy first so it can't heal the others and be annoying. As long as you're 30 and equip a set of resists that make sense for the fight and which head you plan to blow up first, you can probably kill the heads in whatever order you want.
Stack poison on the healer head and kill with dark damage, then split Matt (ice) -> fire head, and Lance (thunder) -> dark head. Finish both at the same time. Matt will likely get ahead, so let him drop a few Seikens on the dark head to catch up.
The hydra throws so much crap at you that you can not possibly be prepared to defend against.
The best option is to kill one head as quick as possible.
The beginning is the worst position you can be in in this fight the momentum is heavily in the hydras favor.
They have got poison, insta death, heals, dispells, and that blaze dragon is putting buffs up.
Cutting off one head as quick as possible will shift the momentum in your favor.
With 2 heads remaining less crap is getting thrown at you and neither have really gotten stronger.
The question is which head do you not want to deal with the most?
Do you want abyss’s constant debuffs and insta deaths gone?
Do you want blazes heavy dps and non stop buffing gone?
Or do you want czaars healing and buff cancelation gone?
Whichever you think you can manage go for but innmy opinion getting rid of abyss is the biggest favor.
Insta death attacks screw you over more than anything these other two do.
Also if abyss is the last one left he brings those ghosts into the fight as backup which only Natalie will be able to remove from the field quickly.
And you want her on defense in the final part of the fight.
No matter when you kill abyss I strongly advise you not to kill him last.
If you thought his insta death poison and doom attacks were annoying before they practically triple when he’s the only one left.
Czaar is probably the most least threatening of the trio with his holy specialty.
If Natalie has her fully upgraded pope outfit he literally can’t kill her aside from physical attacks which is couterable with Matt’s protection skill.
Czaar is easy enough to kill at any point in the fight since Matt and lance have all they need to keep the dps going until he dies.
The only thing problematic about czaar being left mass is his minions he summons are nothing but healers.
It’s not hard to kill czaar when he’s last it's just flat out annoying and drags on too long.
And last is blaze
This dragon puts buffs up on himself team and mainly attacks with fire.
Sometimes he’ll go for a physical attack.
The pros: he’s alone now and doesn’t have abyss’s debuffs to slow down your attempts to hurt him and doesn’t have Czaars healing.
The cons: the minions he summons are all heavy hitters I swear the tamest thing he summons are red clays.
His buffs will also start to stack up considerably cancel them when they get to high or he could one shot even a fully buffed party.
If blaze is the last one left there’s no reason for Natalie to still be wearing the pope outfit switch her into more fire protective gear this should only make her vulnerable to physical attacks which blaze can only use on one person.
Worst case scenario Natalie dies from a physical attack and you use a coffee to bring her back.
However once Natalie is alive and Matt has protect active she’ll be fine.
This is also a good optoetubiry to bring lances water elemental gun into the fight as it gives a 30% fire resistance and it shreds through blazes defenses assuming Lance hasn’t used dehabilitate.
Blaze is a buff piece of crap butt without czaar to dispel your buffs or blaze to debuff you in any way you can easily overwhelm him.
Other than that, great breakdown and thanks for adding more help to a great game
