"Superbosses"
So I'm just curious if anyone else fought (and defeated) the "hidden superbosses" in the Volcano Peak's secret treasury (the one guarded by death)?

For those who don't know (and I'm sure most don't, the bosses aren't very, uh, spectacular)

Once you get all the medals, the mysterious person blocking a secret pathway in Volcano Peak dissapears, allowing you to enter a room full of goodies (craploads of stat boosts to keep those stat grinders busy) and three boss fights. Those are just regular enemies but with ridiculously high level, some are so high they will one-shot you with pretty much anything. The three fights consist of:

First fight - 3 waves
1st wave - Light and Dark Golems with slight level bonus (about 6)
2nd wave - Red bush and Dark Bush, both level 50. 1-hit KO's everywhere, pretty hard
3rd wave - The 3 elementals with same level bonus as golems. Not much harder than standard fights

Second fight - 2 waves
1st wave - Evil Tail and Worm - pretty dope, but those won't 1 shot you
2. wave - same as above, but two times more. That one would be tough but I had Kyun ready, after that just poison them and play defensively

Third fight - 2 waves
1st wave - standard Dark Bush - basically a setup so you can buff yourself
2nd wave - the 3 monoliths. This fight is just bad and Matt should feel bad. The only counter is to syphon the monoliths, and they just happen to be resistant to Syphon so it's a Russian Roulette. If you syphon all but the Cosmic Monolith, he may kill them after some time. If that doesn't happen, tough luck.

Overall it took me about half an hour to get them all. The tactics and the fights themselves aren't very creative, but at least EBF3 had some difficult fights at last, which you can't say about the rest of the game ¬_¬

*clap, clap, clap* Nicely done man. I still haven't done them, didn't find them interesting enough to do, but well done!

Yeah, they aren't particularly engaging, so can't blame anyone for ignoring them. Still, just wanted to see if there's something special when you do manage to beat them. Sadly, the answer is no. I didn't even see how much EXp they give since it was on New Game, so there was the level cap.

Ah well... Probably above average xp, since they are above average on level. I can't go look either, since i had to factory reset my pc. Too much ♥♥♥♥ and it was starting to slow the pc down. As a consequence i lost all saves i had on it, not that i miss them alot. anyways... Happy gaming!
