Will the order counter work as a regular checkout counter? As mentioned for the smaller shops that don't have the room for the larger checkouts.

it also works as a regular check out. I have in my first shop wich is mainly groceries and random stuff along with tshirts and jackets

Order counters are used for non-retail businesses only.

But you can place one there and role play it's for ordering stuff... :)

Or for complaints. And you are doing great as no one complains!
