Okay, but how do I turn a profit before researching that stuff? Research takes time and money and I'm struggling to even start with a tiny corner store.
How many stores do you have?
Is the deficit per store or at all?
Here is my first guess:
This is may very inaccurate because I dont know much. But I'll try.
- Make a big store! Try to invest 3/4 of your money in the building.
- Build at least one shelf (shelf means for me every storage thingy not only shelfs) for every product. Better 2 (but you will run out of money soon. so keep calm)
- Build 3 checkout counters (you will need them very soon) Make sure that NOTHING crosses the blue queue line. Better start planing AROUND the checkout counter then around the shelfs! You really need the 10 person per queue!
Now comes the tricky part. You need to monitor a lots of stuff.
1) You need to watch "How many customers are standing in the queue?"
Is the queue longer then 6 people you definitely need to open a second checkoutcounter. Mostly this happens in grocery market around 12 & 18 o'clock (at the beginning) but you will recognize very fast that people tend to buy stuff around 18 to 23.
But lets head back to the checkout counter. Keep that in mind. Every customer you lose which is super annoyed gets an cooldown for the next day. So they wont come back tomorrow. Plus you really want the sales.
2) Are there enough products in the shelfs? You wont like to run out of products. In the beginning it can be helpfull to run with only two stockclerk. But then you need to find a daytime where the 2nd stockclerk can refill without the pressure of customers
3) parking areas are the butter and bread of your market! Private parking areas are very worthy in the beginning of the game. Lets say you have 20 parking space and 7 workes which are at work at the same time you only have 13 parking slot available for your customers. Customers only come to your market if there are enough praking slots. So it can be worth it to invest very soon in 30 to 40 slots. So you dont have to care for it for like 1 hour.
4) try to use your staff efficient. especally the cassier can suck your money. It's worth it to have one working for 9 hours and one only for 2 or 3 hours. They are no real people so dont care about the economic situation :D :D
5) DONT FORGET THE JANITORS!!!!! xD I did it. The mess was huge. And as I said annoyed customers have a 24hour cooldown of coming back to your market.
6) NOR THE TOILETS
Tipps & Tricks:
How does the game works? The more products you have the more people will come. So aiming for an huge market should be your first priority! Try to get as many ♥♥♥♥ in this store as you can. Forget about T2 or T3 products.
If you once settled you store and get some cash. Build an office with 8 to 12 office workers. And rush the research. Once everything is done you can kill the office.
Aim as quickly as possible for the late hours. The huges sales are between 18-23 if you got enough customers. Even if it sounds weird a 24h store is really worthy!!! Go for it
If you have spare money and enough products go assap for a big food store. Cereals, Can food and T2 food attracts people like hot latina asses!
Don't spread your products to fast in many stores. The more stores you have the more staff you have. The more staff you have to pay the less money you earn!
Hope I could help a bit
