Restaurant cashiers not working.

Restaurant cashiers appear at cafe, go to counters yet don't serve anyone.

yep. The cashiers stand behind them, The customers come in, que but the cashers don't do anything. Their order counters are also Red.

is there a solution to this? I have two cashiers for one fast food place and they both leave as soon as someone places an order. drink machine, food warmer, and cooking station are accessable. I have a cook and a stocker.

I've got the same problem over here. After helping a costumer, the cashier leaves the building and go to home.

I'm afraid i can't post any screenshots as I deleted the save. However, A soloution for this I foudn was to fire all the cashier workers and then re-hire them.

Same issue here. It doesn't say anything specific. The log says the worker came to work an hour ago, found a parking spot and the nshowed up at work. Once he gets in contact with a customer, he leaves.

do you have storage ?? GF had this issue, And it was because storage unit was 2x4 with walls all around. Nothing in the storage because they dont place boxes along the walls by default. So no deliveries were being made to the fast food chain.

In the screenshot you can see the cashier leaving the building after 13 minutes of working and helping one customer.

I have the same problem, the cashier show up for work, once the first custumer arrive, my cashier leaves. I try to fire them all, and re-hire with no luck.

Yes i have a cook, stoke clerk, cashier and all the requirement to make a fast food restaurant.

Same here. The cook never shows up. I fired her, rehired her and hired two other cooks. When i keep an eye on them they are first on their way to work, then get stuck in traffic and go home afterwards.

But the cashier doen't leave before the restaurant closes.

Ok, i started a new map. Now the cook is showing up to work and it works fine :).
Everything is the same, except, that haven't activated the tutorial.

Edit: Ok, it worked a couple of times, but now they are leaving as soon as they arrive since a couple of days. I got more cooks but none of them show up.

I had the same problem yesterday. Cant post up screen as i started over and deleted save but i had a lot of people wandering around so i had to rebuild my restaurant to serve more customers, what happened my workers get to work and have left imediatelly...i had 11 order counters 4 chefs stocclerk...but just 2 tills working...if i was enough lucky...

Quick tip for this, i have found the the cooks won't use the grill if it has a wall running along one of its longer sides so its best to place them as an island rather than along walls.
