A Solution for the Resolution
Hello community,

From my understanding, this game needs a 4:3 aspect ratio and is set to use the Desktop resolution of Windows.
I tried it with my native Resolution of 1366x768, which is 16:9, and the graphics are distorted.

Here is what you can do, to make Windows automatically change the Desktop Resolution:

  1. Download QRes and place the exe in your Industry Giant folder D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Industry Giant https://downloads.itechtics.com/QRes.zip
  2. Create a new textfile in your Industry Giant folder and rename it to something like Run Industry Giant.bat
the file ending is important, it has to be a batch file.
  3. Rightclick on the new batch file and type the following lines:
    qres /x:1024 /y:768
    giant.exe
    qres /x:1366 /y:768

The first line calles for QRes to change the resolution to 1024x768, then the game launches, after it's closed, QRes is asked to change the resolution back.

Once that is done, you can run the game with your batch file. If you want the batch to show on your desktop as an icon, rightclick it and select Send To -> Desktop.

You might find your desktop icons in disorder after changing the screen resolution.
You might want to run the game in WinXP SP3 mode.

Have a good one.

Take the dgVoodoo files, put them in the install directory, use the dgvoodoo config exe to configure it and play. If you have multi monitor setup then turn them off or catch your mouse on one screen with DMT
