Keys Under Car? Glasses Under Grill??

How do you get these things out of there? Both of these puzzles seem a bit ridiculous, given that I have a crowbar in hand that is apparently unsuited for either task.

That seems a bit more excuseable in the case of the keys, but I can't pick up the magnets on the workbench, and I can't use the nearby wire to make a hook either.

So for both of these, all the logical solutions are apparently right out. What AM I supposed to be doing?

You are on the right track. You have to make a fishing rod with the wire and the magnet. Place the wire on the tip of the rod, than you can take the magnet an place it on the wire. You can use this to accomplish both tasks, the glasses need another step before you can get them.

You need an unexpected tool for the glasses. Look further in the garage area after you make the magnet fishing rod. It is a bit counter intuitive. Making the magnet is pretty tricky but once you know exactly where the wire goes, as moewe27 said, it works

Thanks! I swear I tried that last time (minus the magnets, which never once moved) but the game refused to accept it. Anyway, it all poppoed right together today. :-)
