No suspension setting (steer angle, toe, camber, ride hight, etc)
About physics, check out a rival sim racing game like Assetto Corsa, or an older one, Live For Speed (leave the "ok, thats a bigger studio" $h*t, if u do something, do it perfect, or don't do it), run some laps, and compare.
Graphics are very good, but as I said it earlier, at this state, this game is like a ricer car. All show, no go. But it has lots of potential in it.
Well the game should really be an awesome game but some things are missing to get closer to a perfect game!
-First of all i have some issues with force feedback, i don't know if i missed something while setting it up but the countersteering force isn't really good, i don't feel my angle while drifting like i feel in Assetto Corsa or rFactor, the car's physics is quite good by the way, it just need better FFB support. (let me know if you found a good settings for FFB feeling with G27)
-Second REALLY IMPORTANT thing would be a dynamic cockpit camera, to get the driver's head following the car's angle (like RealHeadMotion do for Assetto Corsa) It's a really basic feature to add to a drift game.
-Add the ability to set the car's chassis, like suspensions, cambers, caster...
-It would be really cool if we can remove some body pieces to make some drift missiles, like front and rear bumpers, headlights and taillights, maybe front arches...
-More rims (like Works Meister for example, or some with big offset) would be really nice to have, also some stretched tires would be nice!
-It would be awesome to be able to import our PNG files as decals to make our liveries!
for second, can be cool to custom the garage.
FFB is getting better, but at the current state, there is minimal resistance on the wheel when it is near center position, therefore after spinning back, it spins to the other direction, making the car kind of wobbly, hard to control a smooth transition, and almost impossible to maintain a nice, continous drifting combo. And the rear of the cars still feel overweighted, and seem like the front wheels dont have enough traction to keep the car under controll. We need tire wear, with popping tires, and running gear/suspension settings.
More exaust options, with various mufflers, that give the cars a little different sound (not just one type of muffler for a car), and importantly, now the inline-4 and 6 sound almost the same, but the V8 has similar sound also. This is not right.
Anyhow, the game is getting better and better, so I have really high hopes for it.
As for the car park.... Ok, we have S15, what is drifting without the Nissan S13, and of course Toyota Corolla AE86, the HACHI-ROKU?
Rotary and boxer engines (RX8 and BRZ cars)
Engine swapping is good, so it should stay this way that I can put any engine in any car.
More interior customisation, dashboards, extra optional gauges, interior panels, seat belts, stock (factory) seats, rear seats for cars, being able to build a factory looking "sleeper".
More differentials, with adjustable end-ratio, adjustable LSD, with adjustable coefficient, adjustable turbo pressure, various exhaust pipe diameters, that give different sound and of course performance stats (not the biggest is the best, but the player should experiment it, which combination of parts is the best)
Hope that this game will develop much for next year, and since it us titled DRIFT21, it will reach kind of "near perfect" state for 2021 🤪🤪😎
2. Individual Part Painting. Dash components, body pieces, engine bay, Engine parts.
3. Expanded upon the paint garage to allow painting of individual parts as a advanced option.
4. Dash board instrument panels, custom Guages and premades.
5. Some American courses perhaps? Formula Drift in the USA tracks (could be a DLC $$)
6. alter the "STAGE X" to account for things like HP and curb weight.
7. Imperial measurement system. (others have requested this too.
8. MAYBE differentials.
9. change bushing.
10. Tire wear, Tire pressure, Tire heat, Engine Heat/cooling.
Otherwise I am very impressed with the progress. Spread the word it going well. We appreciate the hard work during trying times (2020). Thank you each and please keep it up.
and i guess a turbo sound would be nice and a turbo blowoff sound
