Biggest thing holding me back from playing this is not being able to use my own cars in multiplayer. Also the lack of a competitive mode in multiplayer really sucks.

You can use a car from carrer mode in multiplayer.

You can use your career cars in MP mode, just need to right click on them, bring up the menu, and select the "Go To Multiplayer" option.

And there is competitive modes, the server host has to start them IIRC, there is some simple as who gets the mode points in a time frame and free roam.... There is also a VDC style competition that is done through the official discord called the Elite Drift Series, currently doing season 2 and round 2 is coming up.

I would like to see photo mode when Im in playback mode. It would be definitely awesome to make some super clips or shots from a different angle of the car.

I dont own the game, just interested for now, but from what i gather;
steam workshop for custom maps/tracks might be good. Without limits though. So people can choose to make a serious track or a weird one. e.g. A replica of an existing track or a cyberpunk/steampunk themed track.

Id like to see more wheels, maybe even officially liscensed ones. Then more decals, new engine sounds, especially for the inline 6. Then maybe pre-made liverys?

I don't have this game in my library, but what I would like to see is an option to switch to Imperial units, like other games have. Maybe also custom liveries/wraps?

You can change between MPH and KM/H as well as create own liveries/wraps in the paint booth.

just add anything at this point tbh. its one of the best drifting games i have played. but it just feels so dead. i don't understand how someone could make such a awesome game and just leave it to die like this. same cars, motors, wheels, body kits, and exhaust since i got it and there's only been one update. you get to the point to where you have just done it all that you can do in this game. motor/car combos and making power to weight ratios high all can be done within 24hrs of game play. I want to play it but ive been on every track in every car with every different motor setup and it just feels boring now. I love this game so much and don't want to see it go out like midnight club. The potential in this game is insane if the devs would just come back and give it a little more attention.

so the devs have just abandoned this game? i havent played recently but was thinking of getting back into it but not much point if theres no coming updates/devs gave up.

It seems that way, but I'd like to tell myself they're just working on a big update and keeping quiet about it. At this point, I would just love some mod support like Prime Moss said.

I suggest adding a Toyota Chaser JZX100. It's fiarly cheap to obtain and laser scan and it's long wheelbase is good for drifting.
