The main difference is Physics:
MXGP: Simcade (More realistic except no tricks/flips) - May feel less user friendly
MX vs ATV: Arcade (With some tricks and can do flips) - More accessible for all.
Locations:
MXGP = National tracks, with a small practice compound but basically all tracks but the details in them will be very polished..
MX vs ATV = Has some nice free ride open world maps with waypoint races across them as well. Also has supercross and nationals so a bit of everything.
First person Camera:
Personall I love MXGP / MESX first person camera a lot more then in ALL OUT but it is playable enough just a bit rough around the edges.
Which do I reccomend?
BOTH.
I like MXGP/MESX for more serious races and I like ALL OUT for a more relaxed chilled vibe (that's not to say it can't also be very competitive, it can be).
I lean a bit more toward the MXGP/MESX games because I like the more realistic vibe it gives me but that's just personal preference. I would never say one game is better than the other. They are both good in their own ways.
June 29th is still awhile away so also depends how long you want to wait before playing some motocross.
Maybe you thought this was posted in MXGP3 or MESX? O.o
If you like balls to the wall arcade racing, join us.
If you don't take your motocross games too seriously, join us.
If you like exploring open world maps for the best lines and jumps in which to do really impossible things, join us.
If you like getting online with your mates and coming up with stupid, hilarious competitions that entertain you for at least MINUTES a day before crashing into fire, join us...(hey, I'm happy they're still working on it).
Oh and if you like paying three dollars each for for real bikes in DLC...yeahhhhh, about that...
So this game is awesome regardless of whether or not you pick up the DLC, so JOIN US anyway.
