Not to kick the can down the road or make any promises, but now that we have a better grasp on the engine and understand what went wrong, we can try to again in earnest in the future.
You even completely changed the concept of counter steering / body alignment while cornering without any chance of being able to adjust this.
I don't remember any game of the series before All Out who does it and it's still annoying to me, it doesn't feel any good and it must've been a major point you should've realised at the very beginning.
And you have to admit, when it comes down to settle controls, there is no better opportunity/point in time than building a game from scratch. In the end i don't feel like i could support your statement.
For now, i gave up trying to bring in some constructive feedback for the game, because it was more or less useless for encore (because the engine wasn't ready for changes and most suggestions weren't preserved and considered for this title it seems, so it's lost, most for nothing) and now for All Out, we are still busy fixing game breaking bugs and most basic fixes, so the resources won't allow any focus on discussion / implemention of new exciting features.
So i feel that any written feedback, except for bugreports and maybe most basic topics, won't be worth the effort and i don't want to sound hysterical or something, but that's how healthy communities are drown out, at least outside of social media.
If there is no consequence in taking the time to come up with and formulate ideas/issues, while, not being a native tongue, having additional effort trying to phrase exactly what having in mind, i cannot keep myself motivated and optimistic while ingame features seem to stagnate or downgrade since a few titles. For most parts, it is just so obvious what the game needs.
I know i repeat myself, but without a working platform, where you can preserve and gather concepts and ideas and without any _serious_ dialog about what could happen and what players wants you to happen, i have the feeling new titles will always feel like they started from zero, lacking the same kind of features, having the same kind of issues.
At least i thought that a new engine comes with the possibility of having even more detailed and physically noticeable terraforming than reflex, or a superior performance to everyone, but neither of those came true.
I would love to see you freaking out about holistic thoughs and great content proposals from the community like you do when having a meaningless chat with the 'xxxx greatest game EVAAAAAH EPICX*....NAAAAASTY WHIPS' dudes out on social media.
I have a hard time believing that dying forums and the recent empty mp lobby are a matter of coincidence.
