If I had to place them in order of best to worst physics it would be
First place reflex
Second place supercross
Third place alive
The physic for alive are by far the worst.
I really hope the physics for all out are like reflex.
They're not. Did you see the freestyle clip? :|. Lost all interest. Cornering looks stupid. Attack position looks stupid. Reverse engineer Reflex like the mod community did and take the damn code.
It's a bit disturbing to see how so many people want the new game to handle like Reflex. Yes, Reflex will probably be one of the best motocross games for the next 5-10 years, but I'd rather have something new over something I already know. I don't want to get bored of playing Reflex, switch to the new game, and go, "Welp, this is exactly like Reflex", and quit. I don't want the same game. I'm sure other people here don't either. People also act like Reflex is gone.
"If the new game is not like Reflex 100%, I am going to put all of my life hate into the new game."
C'mon people.
Alive and Supercross were adequate (I believe they are stilll not as good as Reflex) but that's when they started to 'not progress'. Even though the game is not towards everyone's liking, it seems that this time, they are actually trying to grab much more attention of people who stay faithful to the series.
"Take the damn code."
Are you serious? "Allow me to steal code from an older game that I no longer have any rights to please all of 100 people who still play Reflex." That's what it sounds like you are trying to say. Yes, cornering and attacking physics & animations look a bit odd, but what game doesn't have problems? I guess what I'm saying is that you - along with all of us - have never played the game. Say it looks stupid all you want, you can never be truly sure until you have played the game. No matter how stupid it sounds, I'd advise on giving it a chance.
Truthfully, I believe all of this is a process to get the Mx vs. Atv games back into shape. If they made a mistake on this game, they will see where they made mistakes, and they will fix it within the next game. This is basically how all games work. Every single game will have something that a certain player hates, and that's ok. No matter how much you and I love Reflex, I'm gonna give it a chance, and to be honest, it looks pretty great.
No one's going to read all that, man. Go back to plebbit.
I AGREE COMPLETELY!
This is completely irrelevant now because the main physics engine is finished. We already saw a hotlap from the game, and honestly, it does look pretty great. The people that want the new game to be exactly like Reflex are ignorant. Most of us would rather play a new game rather than reflex with different maps and updated graphics. It almost seems that the game is taking an image of Unleashed, and honestly, it looks pretty cool. The rider is super loose (which was needed) and it all around looks great.
